Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package (15.35 oz) Oreo cookies
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups chocolate chips (milk or dark)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (optional, for thinning chocolate)
Instructions
- Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs form.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos and softened cream cheese until well blended.
- Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Chill the balls in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to firm up.
- While the balls are chilling, melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- If desired, add vegetable oil to the melted chocolate to thin it out for easier coating.
- Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated, and return them to the baking sheet.
- Once all the balls are coated, refrigerate them again until the chocolate is set.
- Serve chilled and enjoy your delicious Oreo Balls!
Notes
- For a fun twist, you can add sprinkles or crushed nuts on top of the chocolate coating.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- Feel free to experiment with different types of chocolate for coating.
