Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup chicken or beef broth
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the whole wheat flour and rolled oats.
  3. Add the peanut butter, broth, and egg to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
  5. Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes and place them on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crunchy.
  7. Let the dog bones cool completely before serving them to your pet.

Notes

  • Store the dog bones in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
  • You can substitute the peanut butter with pumpkin puree for a different flavor.
  • Make sure the peanut butter does not contain xylitol, which is toxic to dogs.
